
Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports.

But we’ve got college athletes, young professionals, first-time exercisers, grandparents, stay-at-home parents, teens and more achieving incredible things with their bodies and minds here.
So no excuses. If they can do it, so can you. Whatever shape you come to CrossFit Petroglyph in, we’ll meet you there. Our workouts of the day (WODs) are purposely designed to address any weaknesses in our box, based on feedback and data from our members. The design of the WOD is the MOST important difference between CrossFit boxes. Ours is customized to fit our athletes every day.

"Did a drop in while I was in town for work, and was super impressed with everyone there! The coach was down to earth and funny to boot! They were so friendly and knowledgeable, went through the warm up, and checked on everyones form like a coach is supposed to do.
